Tentative Agreement
07/01/22 - IBEW local 2325 The System Council T6, IBEW 827, 2213 and CWA districts 1,2 and 13 have reached a tentative agreement with Verizon on a 3 year extension to our contract. This extension will take us to 2026. This agreement is subject to ratification and that process will begin next week. We are working on finalizing a summary document and we will get that out when it becomes available. |

06/29/22 - El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association An El Paso nurse was arrested and accused of threatening police officers by saying he "would give them fentanyl to end their lives." Officers arrested 30-year-old Steven Holguin on Monday. Holguin was at the Cincinnati Entertainment District on Saturday. While being taken to the regional command he made threats against the officers. |

For this report, RWICs are persons responsible for providing on-track safety for members of a work group. Lone workers are persons responsible for providing on-track safety for themselves while working alone. |

AMFA-SWA FMT Negotiations Update #1
06/28/22 - AMFA June 28, 2022 -- The Parties held a three-day bargaining session, June 21-23 at Company HQ, to commence Section 6 bargaining toward a successor collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for the FMT group. AMFA, at the outset of Day 1, passed a Section 6 opener document, which identified areas of the CBA AMFA intended to open for negotiation and which articles could carry forward to the new CBA without substantive changes. The Company did not deliver any similar document to AMFA. Following AMFA’s explanation of its openers, however, the Parties were able to tentatively agree that the following articles could remain “at book” during these negotiations and carry forward without substantive change to a new CBA... |
